The 30A Wine Festival is one of THE MOST SPECIAL events to attend on the gulf coast. In it's 7th year, this event has grown every year and is the place to see and be seen... mostly due to the breathtaking location at Alys Beach. Also, the 30A Wine Festival is one of the most stylish and chic wine & culinary events on the gulf coast. Another reason this event is so special is the fact that it benefits Children's Volunteer Health Network, a nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to providing access to medical and dental services for the uninsured and under-insured children in local Walton and Okaloosa counties. I have been involved with CVHN for several years and these people and children hold a special place in my heart with it's dedication to serve our local community.
So.... for those of you who don't know me.... My name is Amy Giles. I am the proud owner of a local styling and closet makeover company, Wardrobe Made Simple... and have lived in this area for over 16 years. Bourbin, Beer and Butts on Friday
Kick off the weekend at the Bourbon, Beer & Butts Friday, February 23rd 6:00-9:00pm at the Kelly Green. The look I chose is perfect to sip a cocktail, eat some awesome BBQ and enjoy the Live music by Marc Broussard, while staying comfortable and warm (it might be a little chilly that evening, so adding a layer is a good idea for extra coziness).

Seminars and Grand Tasting on Saturday
Swirl, sip and learn from some of the countries best vintners on Saturday, February 24th from 1:00-3:30pm at Fire Pit Park at Alys. Then, from 3:30-6:30 join everyone for a wine walkabout South Charles Street at Alys Beach for the Grand Tasting. I chose this dress because of the beautiful print, flowy comfort and fun trendy sleeves. Also, be sure to wear either flats, block heels or wedges (not too high) for walking comfort that day.

Rose & Croquet on Sunday
Finally, Rose and Croquet is a highlight of the 30A Wine Festival on Sunday, February 25th 11:30-3:30 pm at Kelly Green at Alys Beach. Don your traditional croquet whites for this tournament! Enjoy a boozy brunch prior to the match, complete with elegant rosés. I added a little color and funkiness to the outfit with a straw hat with green ribbon detail and feather & gold earrings. Have fun with your accessories when wearing your traditional whites this day!

This event has grown to a sell out event in years past..... so be sure to reserve your tickets in advance. The weather that weekend is scheduled to be beautiful! Day time temps should be in the high 60s or low 70s and Evening temps in the high 50s or low 60s.
