I am thrilled to welcome you to my Blog!  My name is Amy Giles and I live in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida (the beautiful gulf coast along Highway 30A) with my husband, John, and twin girls, Cooper and Riley.  I just recently started my own business, called Wardrobe Made Simple.  It’s a personal styling business.   I offer an experience that can build confidence in the daily task of getting dressed!  From wardrobe evaluations & closet clean outs to personal styling sessions and shopping trips…. I can help with anything to do with your closet and wardrobe!

My goal for this blog is to share my passion for fashion finds, wardrobe client experiences, family and friends, as well as feature our local boutiques and southern designers!   It will be a fashion and lifestyle blog that, hopefully,  you will be excited to follow!  I am thrilled to share my journey through every day experiences and share the talent God has blessed me with.   Here’s a little more about my history…….

I have always loved fashion and everything to do with it!  Growing up with my twin sister and younger brother (Montgomery & Ozark, Alabama), I was always the one that wanted to go shopping for the new season and try on everything in the dressing room , while my sister & brother patiently would sit and wait.  I love that fashion is always ever changing, and a perfect way to express yourself with your personal style.  I also love that a new blouse or a new pair of shoes can make you feel like a million dollars!

I met my husband at Auburn University our freshman year  (January 1995) in college, fell in love and we have been together and inseparable ever since.  After marrying in 1999, we moved to Birmingham and lived only one year in a little suburb called, Homewood, before moving to the beach for John’s job – building condos in Destin, Florida!

I was desperate to find my own career.... after moving to the beach, away from family and friends, I needed to find what my husband had found - a passion for his work and making a difference in a job every day.  I was fortunate to find a wonderful pharmaceutical sales job with Berlex Labs…...which was later purchased by Bayer Healthcare.  I enjoyed a wonderful career in Women’s Healthcare for 13 years, met some precious people and learned so much.

Almost 4 years ago, God blessed my husband and I with twin baby girls, Cooper and Riley.  Our world changed after August 11, 2011 – these girls became our hearts!

I prayed long and hard about my decision to leave my career with Bayer to be able to spend more time with them and find something locally for myself that also was a passion of mine.   I’ve always been the go-to girl for style questions with friends, co-workers and family members, and with their encouragement, Wardrobe Made Simple was born!

My goal with Wardrobe Made Simple is just that…. a wardrobe made simple.  I want to help people feel good about themselves.   I offer a personal styling experience that can build confidence in the task of getting dressed every day.   I believe that our hearts were created with a desire to be beautiful.  Isn’t there a delight that you feel when someone says to you that you’re beautiful, I adore that outfit or you look fabulous!

I realize that every client is unique and has different needs and craves to own a “personal style” all their own.  It is so important to be yourself, and I help tweak putting it all together in a way that is classic, yet current.  I also bring to the table, not only a love for every day “street style” fashion, but a long history in sales in the healthcare industry – and knowing how to dress professionally, while staying current.   I feel that is important for everyone to know, because I have been in the corporate world for a long time, and now living at the beach and being a mom has made me realize even more that life is short…..  Go live your passion and your dreams!!

I did!

~ Amy
