My girls wanted to give everyone an official welcome to my fashion & lifestyle blog with a real pineapple. Did you know that the pineapple is a symbol of hospitality? In colonial America (back with Christopher Columbus), it was a symbol of the warmest welcome that hostesses could give and it was served as a dessert oftentimes (YUM). It was also given as a gift and still continues to be a welcoming symbol everywhere.
